Vera Lagasse

Certified Advanced Integrative Energy Healing Practitioner (CAIEHP) and Certified Integrative Energy Healing Practitioner (CIEHP). Bachelor in Science and Masters in Health Administration

As an integrative energy healing practitioner, I work with the human energy field to enhance physical, emotional and mental well-being, and to encourage deeper self-awareness. After a fulfilling career in national health promotion initiatives, I honoured my soul's calling to work one-on-one with individuals who want to create change in their lives, whether it be in the form of physical pain relief, calming the nervous system, quieting anxious thoughts, releasing limiting self beliefs, or developing better coping strategies.

Illness and discomfort are ways in which our body speaks to us, telling us to pay attention. What I love about the energy healing work is that it is holistic, in that it addresses the whole person. For example, it can be used to help release trauma that has been stored in the physical body as pain, while at the same time also freeing the emotional fears and debilitating thought patterns related to the trauma, and regaining a sense of trust in life."

During the past twelve years, I have provided treatments to clients in recovery from addictions, with eating disorders, PTSD and anxiety issues, and those with chronic pain including fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, irritable bowel syndrome and arthritis. I have helped clients release pain and trauma, using somatic approaches and TWR/WHEE, a body tapping/affirmation energy psychology technique developed by a psychiatrist. This self-healing technique works for all kinds of symptoms, helping clients get to the root of the problem.

My intention is always to create a safe and caring environment within which healing can occur. I teach clients how to access their own healing potential. At Langara College, I am an instructor for the Integrative Energy Healing Program and supervise Langara students offering treatments to clients in health care settings. I also graduated from the Strategic Resilience for First Responders Certificate Program at Langara College in 2017. I currently work with clients at a Wellness Centre in Vancouver.

"From the moment Vera welcomed me into her treatment room, I felt safe. I found her warm and grounded presence reassuring. After sessions, I would return home feeling as if my whole body  had received a drink of the purest, clearest water; calmed and refreshed throughout every cell of my being. From that place of greater calm, my body was then able to get on with its natural healing processes." SH

"I have progressive multiple sclerosis, and am in pain every day, tired, emotional and have problems with my balance and walking.
